Shiseido to Send Aid to the Region Affected by Kumamoto Earthquake(Second report)

Shiseido Co., Ltd. extends its heartfelt sympathy to the people affected by the Kumamoto earthquake. We sincerely hope for the earliest recovery of the region.

Considering the latest situation in the area, the company has decided to send the second batch of aid to Kumamoto - moisturizing skincare sets (8,400 pcs) as well as monetary donation, in addition to the first batch of dry shampoo and wet body wipes for hygiene purposes. The total amount of Shiseido’s support for the region adds up to 20 million yen in value to date.

The second batch of aid items will arrive at the designated aid goods collection site (Kasuya ward, Fukuoka prefecture) by April 27 (Wednesday). The donation was made through “Donation for Kumamoto Earthquake, 2016” of Japanese Red Cross Society on April 25.

The first batch items (arrived at the designated aid goods collection site on April 22):
-Dry shampoo (3,600 pcs)
-Wet body wipes (10,000 pcs)

The second batch items (scheduled to arrive by April 27):
-Moisturizing skincare sets (8,400 pcs)
